Friends @ Home is our flagship 'at home' program that enables children and teens with special needs to engage with loving volunteers for hours of fun, entertainment, creativity, and social interaction in the comfort of their own homes.
Volunteer pairs visit their special friend weekly, and develop a loving and caring friendship that transforms the lives of all involved. It has become a vital part of our community, providing a supportive and enriching opportunity for kids & teens with special needs to learn and grow, as well as giving our special needs parents a much needed opportunity for respite.
Your sponsorship helps cover the costs associated with the Friends @ Home program. The outreach to special needs families. The manpower needed to manage the logistics and coordination of the visits. Volunteer outreach, training and appreciation.
