Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Volunteer Project

OVERVIEW

Friendship Circle NYC presents a meaningful way for Grade 6-7 students to mark their Bar/Bat Mitzvah, by making a real difference in the lives of children with special needs, through hands-on acts of kindness.

The Mitzvah Project participants will be organizing a Chanukah Toy Drive to bring joy and warmth to the incredible children and teens at Friendship Circle. The group will be raising funds, which will go towards purchasing toys, games, and menorahs. They will then gift-wrap these items and personally deliver them to the children’s homes.

HOW TO JOIN

All Mitzvah project members will have their very own custom-made fundraising page, where they can invite family and friends to participate in their volunteering efforts by donating to the cause. (View this year's project here). The fundraising minimum to join the Mitzvah Volunteer Project is $1000/person.
